Astronomers have taken the first ever image of a black hole, which is located in a distant galaxy.

It measures 40 billion km across - three million times the size of the Earth - and has been described by scientists as "a monster".

The black hole is 500 million trillion km away and was photographed by a network of eight telescopes across the world.

Details have been published today in Astrophysical Journal Letters.

An 18-year-old man who went missing early Sunday morning in Stark County has been found dead, Marlboro Township police confirmed Tuesday afternoon.  

According to authorities, Aiden Paul Jewel was at a party last Saturday night when he became "impaired," and had not been seen since around 2 a.m. Sunday. The party apparently took place at a house near New Baltimore Ice Cream.

MARLBORO TWP. Police are searching for a missing 18-year-old man who walked away from a party in the New Baltimore area early Sunday morning.

The Ohio Highway Patrol, several fire departments and Stark Parks all have assisted in efforts to find Aidan Jewell, of Salem Church Road NW in Washington Township. The search started late Sunday.

Jewell was last seen at about 2 a.m. on Sunday leaving the party, Marlboro Police Chief Ron Devies said. It’s possible Jewell was intoxicated when he left the party. Police believe he was walking because the people he came to the party with had left earlier.  Click HERE to read more.
