CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The International Exposition Center (I-X Center) is closing its doors for good after operating for 35 years.
The closure is effective immediately and there will not be anymore events at the facility.
A press release sent out Wednesday morning by representatives with the the I-X Center said the coronavirus pandemic caused the closure.
There are around 75 full time and union employees who worked at the I-X Center.
Most of the staff has been furloughed since March.
