CANTON TWP. Donovan, the three-legged dog stolen by a couple posing as Stark County Humane Society volunteers, has been recovered.
Stark County Humane Society Director Jackie Godbey said the man accused of taking the dog was tearful when he surrendered the dog to her and Stark County Sheriff’s Deputy Jack Hewitt about 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the man’s township home.
