According to TMZ, the rapper was shot in Miami as he was leaving a motorcycle dealership, with first responders claiming he had no pulse before authorities arrived on the scene.
Born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, XXXTentacion rose from obscurity and poverty as a young Soundcloud rapper, becoming a commercial success with his 2017 debut album 17 and gaining a following on YouTube. Onfroy followed up 17 with this year’s chart-topping ?, released last March.
