Construction of the Top Thrill 2 roller coaster at Cedar Point has reached a milestone as crews have completed the ride’s new 420-foot-tall vertical spike tower — and the view is a real nail-biter.

The final piece of the ride’s track was hoisted and secured into place Sunday.
