Demi Lovato has broken her silence on her near-fatal overdose almost two weeks ago, saying she hasn't beaten her addiction ... and wants to focus on sobriety and almost certainly rehab.

The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer posted an open letter on social media Sunday saying ... "I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I've learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet."

Nick Carter, a member of the popular boy band the Backstreet Boys, is under review by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office in connection with a sex assault case.

The case against Carter, 38, was presented by the Santa Monica Police Department on Tuesday, the district attorney's office confirmed to Fox News on Thursday.

Grande and Reebok are taking the Always Classic sneaker, Rapide and mixing it with Grande's pop personality. The shoe features the classic 90's Reebok logo in Twisted Berry Pink and Vital Blue over a Skull Grey. The Reebok Fall/Winter press release said Grande's message in her single, "God Is A Woman" matches with their "Be More Human" campaign. The sneaker launches August 2, just weeks before Grande's new album Sweetner, August 17.

Demi Lovato's friends wanted to keep her OD on the DL ... asking paramedics to come to her house without sirens.

In the 911 call from Lovato's house -- obtained by TMZ -- the caller remains calm while taking orders from the dispatcher. As the ambulance approached, the dispatcher let the caller know they'd soon hear sirens to which the caller responded, requesting they be shut off ... seemingly to keep the situation private from neighbors. However, the dispatcher says that's just not possible.
