Friday, Grammy-winning singer and songwriter, John Mayer announced he will be creating a foundation focusing on the health of veterans. He says it’s not only to support the veterans, but bring the military communities together with outreach and conversation. Mayer, son of a WWII veteran, has spent eight years in research with veterans, scientists and doctors to build what is to be called the Heart and Armor Foundation. The foundation will also concentrate on the needs of women veterans as well as veterans who experience post-traumatic stress disorder. Click here for the whole story and more information.
