When most people think of Spam they think of junk email. It is amazing people are still consuming the processed meat known as Spam. That might change after the U.S. Department of Agriculture recalls more than 228,000 pounds of Spam by Minnesota-based Hormel after four consumers found metal objects in the food. The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service reports the suspect canned chicken and pork was produced in February. The agency says “minor oral injuries” have been reported. The recall covers 12-ounce cans of “SPAM Classic” with a “Best By” date of February 2021 date. Those products were shipped all over the U.S. Click here for the whole story.
