Carrie Underwood Gives First Televised Interview Since Her Accident, Says Aftermath ‘Wasn’t Pretty’

The 35-year-old country superstar gave her first televised interview since her serious fall last November, which severely injured her face. Underwood spoke to Hoda Kotb on Thursday’s Today show about what she described as a “freak accident.”

Katy Perry tries to end feud with Taylor Swift

After a nearly five-year feud, it appears that Taylor Swift and Katy Perry are finally ready to put their bad blood behind them.

Cleveland Kidnapping Survivors: Where Are They 5 Years Later?

It has been five years since Amanda Berry miraculously escaped from a boarded-up Cleveland home and called 911.

“Help me. I’m Amanda Berry,” she told the dispatcher. “I’ve been kidnapped and missing for 10 years. I am here. I am free now.”

Within minutes, Cleveland Police discovered Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight, who had been chained, tortured and abused along with Berry for a decade. Their captor, Ariel Castro, was convicted for kidnapping and raping the three women and sentenced to life in prison. (He died of suicide a month after he was sentenced.)
