Angela Lansbury talks sexual harassment: Women ‘must sometimes take blame’

At a time when Hollywood is grappling with mounting allegations of sexual harassment and assault, Angela Lansbury says she believes women must, at least partially, be held accountable in instances of harassment.

In an interview with Radio Times published Tuesday, the actress who played Jessica Fletcher in the television series Murder, She Wrote, said women are to some degree responsible.

“There are two sides to this coin,” Lansbury, 92, said. “We have to own up to the fact that women, since time immemorial, have gone out of their way to make themselves attractive. And unfortunately it has backfired on us — and this is where we are today.
